Welcome to the Topic “Advantages and Disadvantages of Living in Dubai”

Dubai is included of the most popular places to live in the Middle East. It is a modern metropolis with a rich cultural history and vibrant nightlife. Although there are many advantages of living in Dubai, there are also disadvantages that people should be aware of before moving.

Dubai is also known as a city full of opportunity; if you’re looking for an exciting career change or want more money in your pocket every month than you have now, finding employment here will help improve those circumstances!

Pros:

Food

The food is delicious. Dubai has a diverse culinary scene; you’ll find everything from local Middle Eastern cuisine to French, Italian, Indian, and Asian fare. There are also plenty of fast-food chains when you want something quick and familiar.

Active City

Something I’d like to point out is how new everything feels: there’s so much construction going on all over town, so it feels like something new will pop up every time we walk around town; many buildings still have scaffolding up while they’re being built out…it’s hard sometimes not knowing where things might lead next when everything else seems so uncertain right now. Still, overall we’re very excited about our future here because we ultimately know how much potential there is here too!

Modern Infrastructure and Architecture

The city has been developed to become one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world. This means you can access modern facilities like electricity and cable television. There are numerous shopping malls where you can shop for your daily needs or go for entertainment activities such as watching movies at cinemas or playing games at gaming stations available within these malls.

Cons:

The Weather is Unbearable

The weather in Dubai is unpredictable and not suitable for outdoor activities. The temperature may range from cold to boiling, and you could get caught in a storm anytime.

While it may sound like a paradise to some, I’m sure that most of us would prefer not to live in an area where the weather changes every hour on hour.

High Cost of Living and Goods

Advantages and Disadvantages of Living in Dubai

Dubai has some of the world’s most luxurious and expensive homes, which may be a selling point for you. But there is also a drawback to living in such an environment.

The high cost of living in Dubai starts with housing. The average monthly rent for a two-bedroom apartment can reach up to $1,500 (Dhs 5,000), while single-family homes start at around $2 million (Dhs 7 million). This makes it difficult for ex-pats who earn close to minimum wage or don’t have any savings to afford to rent or buy a house.

Alcohol Consumption is Restricted

The UAE has a strict policy on alcohol consumption. The country bans the sale and import of alcohol, except in privately owned clubs (both members-only and open to non-members). There are currently three clubs in Dubai: Hard Rock Café, Bonkers Nightclub, and Roxy Nightclub. Alcohol can be purchased at airports in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but only if you have an international license endorsement.

Conclusion

Dubai is a great city to live in, but it also has drawbacks. As with any city, you need to decide if the pros outweigh the cons for you personally. If they do, then we’d love to hear from you!
